another day gone

yeah that clock keeps ticking

i’m beginning to wonder if its just a dream

i keep bangin’ my head

against that same old wall

still searching for THE REASON

 

THE REASON to live

THE REASON to give

THE REASON to “choose” which  “path” to take

i’m like a human time bomb

ready to explode

i don’t know which road to take

 

another nights here

my mind is still racing

but now i know this ain’t no dream

something’s got to give

cause the wall keeps building

and i don’t want to be trapped inside

 

(a reason to live…i need to know what “road” to take)

and when they were come to the place,

which is called Calvary, there they crucified HIM,

and the malefactors, one on the right hand,

and the other on the left.

Then said JESUS,

FATHER, forgive them;

for they know not what they do…

now upon the first day of the week,

very early in the morning,

they came to the sepulcher…

and they found the stone rolled away

 

it’s morning again

my heart is still ticking

i choose to take up the cross and die

i’ll use the wood from the cross to make a ladder

cause JESUS CHRIST is THE REASON “why”
